TRIP TO AMNH

Me and my class went to the Museum of Natural History and looked at many exibits. we went to the Rose center , to the meteorites exibit, and also went to see a movie. We learned about our sun, stars, meteorites, and other planets.

When we went to the Meteorites exibit we looked at the different textures and different types of meteorites. we also looked at other things that connect to meteorites, just like meteors and shooting stars. I learned the differences of meteors and meteorites which are that meteors burn up before reaching the ground and turn into shooting stars. Meteorites are bodies that survive the trip through out through the atmosphere and reach earth's surface.

When we went to the Rose center exibit we could see each planet and learned about each of them, we could also learn about the sun and weight our self in a scale that tells what our weight would be.

I also learned a lot about the movie. I learned that the sun won't always shine, but it won't explode because only 1% of stars do that. I learned that the universe is much hotter than it was before and also that the stars keep forming and also dying.

My questions are why can't we go further on space to explore more things and get to know more of our planets? aren't we supposed to have our equipment? and also why don't black holes absorb all the universe?
